A Summer Update

I was listening to Lisa Harrison and Dani McKinney on the One People Round Table show (http://www.lisamharrison.com/2015/06/12/one-people-round-table-9-june-2015/) a few minutes ago.

They were talking about an experiment in manifestation, which made me think of this blog, which I often forget about.

For this update, I must refer you to one of my first blog posts, Dropping Expectations.

In that post, I discussed creating the perfect job.

I actually did create the perfect job.  I've been working for my friend since January.  I am a book editor, I work at home, I love what I do, and I look forward to doing it every day when I wake up.  A friend remarked to me recently that I was the only person these days who says that the love their job.

I make my own schedule, work at my own pace, don't waste money on parking, gas, lunch, or clothes.

I make my own schedule and I only talk to my boss, whom I love, about once every two weeks.

Yes, I can say, with complete sincerity, that trusting the Universe paid off in spades for me.

Hmmm, what should I work (or should I say, not work) on next?

Update

Wow, have not been here for a long time!

I just re-read my previous blog posts and I do have some news.

The job I wanted with the old friend finally materialized in January.

He lost his part-timer and asked me to replace her, which I was more than happy to do!

The job could not have been more opportune because I really needed the money.

Another just-in-the-perfect-time manifestation from the Universe.

I get to work from home, which I totally love.

I am doing more project management with books, which I also love!

Interestingly, although I usually work from home, my boss asked me to come in to do some work in the office while one of the editors was away.

Which office was it?  Well, the middle one, of course!  The one I declared to be mine.

Yes, it's not a perfect manifestation but it's a perfect for me manifestation!
